Travel to Zakynthos
During the summer months from May until October you can fly direct to Zakynthos from England and many other European cities.

The only way to get here during the winter months from November until April.
There are regular weekly flights from the UK and Europe to Athens El Venizelos Airport. There are many routes to Athens from Europe. Easyjet offer cheap flights to Athens from Gatwick and Luton if booked in advance. BA.com and KLM airlines also have very good flights to Athens (again book early to secure best prices).

Zakynthos Airport Dionisios Solomos

From Athens to Zakynthos you can either catch a coach or the "Hopper plane.". The coach and ferry journey takes approximately 6 hours including convenience breaks. It is a pretty journey enabling you to see some of the wonderful Greek mainland. The "Hopper plane." to Zakynthos takes approximately 50 minutes and has to be booked via Olympic Airlines.
